ベネズエラ地震の被害状況について/Damage situation in Venezuela
6月24日午後6時頃（日本時間25日午前7時頃）、南米ベネズエラ北部カリブ海沿岸のモロン周辺を震源とする大規模な地震が発生しました。マグニチュード7.1〜7.2の前震の直後、わずか39秒後にマグニチュード7.5の本震が発生。首都カラカスを含む広範囲で非常に強い揺れを観測しました。現地の最新の報道によると、これまでに約2,200人以上が死亡、約11,200人以上が負傷したと伝えられています。インフラは寸断され、現在も必死の捜索・救助活動が続けられていますが、被害の全容は未だ明らかになっていません。
On June 24, a massive M7.5 earthquake struck northern Venezuela, causing severe shaking across a wide area including the capital, Caracas. Latest reports indicate devastating damage, with over 1,700 fatalities and more than 5,000 injuries. While rescue operations continue amid disrupted infrastructure, the full extent of the disaster has yet to be determined.
TMATの動向と本活動の目的/Objectives of TMAT's Activities
TMAT先遣隊は、 現地時間6月30日昼前に被災地（バレンシア・カラカス周辺）に入り、情報収集等活動を開始し、7月3日より、被災地域からの外傷患者等を多数受け入れている地域の拠点病院において、医療支援活動を開始しています。なお、本活動は日本のJDR（国際緊急援助隊医療チーム）と連携して実施します。
災害直後の現地は情報が錯綜し、本当に必要な支援が届きにくい状態です。だからこそ、医療とロジスティクスの専門家である先遣隊が現地に飛び、「潜在的な医療ニーズの評価・分析」や「被災地域の視察」を行うことで、最も困っている人々へ無駄なく的確な支援を組み立てる必要があります。

寄付金の使い道について/Use of Donations
皆さまからお寄せいただいた大切なご寄付は、現地の状況に合わせた最善の人道支援を行うため、以下の通り迅速かつ柔軟に活用させていただきます。
- 【最優先】現地での医療支援・物資支援の調達および実施費用 先遣隊による現地調査（アセスメント）の結果、現地で物資支援（医薬品や生活必需品の供与など）や、本隊派遣による直接的な医療支援が必要と判断された場合は、いただいたご寄付を最優先として、迅速にその調達・実施費用に充てさせていただきます。
- 先遣隊の活動資金 現地で「今、本当に求められている支援」を正確に見極め、安全かつ確実に人道支援を組み立てるための、先遣隊の活動資金（移動費、通信費、滞在費、安全確保のための手続き等の費用）としても大切に活用させていただきます。
※現地の治安情勢や急変等により活動内容に変更が生じた場合も、すべてベネズエラ地震における被災者への人道支援活動のために大切に使用させていただきます。

- Operations and Logistics Funding for the Vanguard Team To accurately identify immediate needs and safely build an effective relief structure, funds will be used for the vanguard team's essential operations, including transportation, communication, accommodation, and necessary security procedures.

TMAT（Tokushukai Medical Assistance Team）は、「生命だけは平等だ」の理念のもと、国内外の災害被災地に対して迅速に医療・人道支援を行う民間医療チームです。医師、看護師、薬剤師、ロジスティクス（事務職）などの医療専門家で構成され、これまでに国内外で数多くの緊急医療支援活動を展開してきた実績があります。2026年5月には、世界保健機関（WHO）より「国際緊急医療チーム（EMT）Type1 Mobile」としての正式認証を世界で65番目、日本国内では国際緊急援助隊医療チーム（JDR）等に続く認証であり、国内NGO初の取得となります。国際基準を満たした専門性の高い医療支援団体として、行政や国際機関と連携しながら、過酷な状況にある被災者へいち早く安心と医療を届けるために活動を続けています。
TMAT (Tokushukai Medical Assistance Team) is a non-governmental medical relief organization dedicated to providing rapid medical and humanitarian assistance to disaster-affected communities in Japan and around the world, guided by its founding principle, "All lives are equal."
TMAT is composed of multidisciplinary professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and logistics personnel (administrative staff), who work together to deliver emergency medical care in disaster settings. Over the years, the team has conducted numerous emergency medical relief missions both domestically and internationally.
In May 2026, TMAT was officially verified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Type 1 Mobile. TMAT became the 65th WHO-verified EMT in the world, the third organization in Japan to receive this recognition—following the Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team and another Japanese EMT—and the first non-governmental organization (NGO) in Japan to achieve WHO EMT verification.
As an internationally recognized medical team that meets WHO standards, TMAT works closely with governments, international organizations, and local partners to deliver timely, high-quality medical care and humanitarian support to people affected by disasters, bringing hope, safety, and healthcare to those in greatest need.
