熊本県の被害状況について/Damage situation in KUMAMOTO
本日7月28日（火）16時27分頃、深さ10キロメートルを熊本県熊本地方震源とするマグニチュード7.1の地震があり、熊本県宇城市、氷川町で最大震度7の地震が観測されました。震源に近いこの地域近辺は地割れや建物の倒壊、電気や水道の断絶が見受けられています。
At approximately 4:27 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 28, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake occurred with its epicenter in the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture at a depth of 10 kilometers; a maximum seismic intensity of 7 was recorded in the city of Uki and the town of Hikawa in Kumamoto Prefecture.
TMATの動向と本活動の目的/Objectives of TMAT's Activities
TMATは、地震発生当日に福岡徳洲会病院（福岡県）より先遣隊を派遣。 7月30日現在、八代市の避難所を拠点に医療支援活動及び、近隣地域の避難所巡回診療やアセスメントを実施。
本当に支援を必要としている方々へ、必要な支援を的確に届けるための体制を整え活動しています。

On the very day the earthquake struck, TMAT dispatched an advance team from Fukuoka Tokushukai Hospital (Fukuoka Prefecture). As of July 30, the team is operating out of an evacuation center in Yatsushiro City, conducting medical support activities as well as mobile clinics and needs assessments at evacuation centers in the surrounding areas.
We are working within a structured framework designed to ensure that the necessary aid reaches those who truly need it most effectively.
Donations received from the public serve as vital funding to support our comprehensive relief efforts, ranging from initial assessments and evaluations to the actual provision of medical care. We kindly ask for your warm support and cooperation so that we may continue delivering essential aid to the affected areas.

- 【最優先】現地での医療支援・物資支援の調達および実施費用 先遣隊による現地調査（アセスメント）の結果、現地で物資支援（医薬品や生活必需品の供与など）や、本隊派遣による直接的な医療支援が必要と判断された場合は、いただいたご寄付を最優先として、迅速にその調達・実施費用に充てさせていただきます。
- 災害医療支援活動資金 現地で「今、本当に求められている支援」を正確に見極め、安全かつ確実に災害医療支援を組み立てるための、活動資金（移動費、通信費、滞在費、安全確保のための手続き等の費用）としても大切に活用させていただきます。

[Top Priority] Costs for Procuring and Implementing On-Site Medical and Material Aid
If the advance team’s on-site assessment determines that material aid (such as the provision of medicines and daily necessities) or direct medical support via a main team deployment is required, we will prioritize using your donations to rapidly cover the costs of procurement and implementation.
Disaster Medical Support Operational Funds
We will also carefully utilize these funds for operational expenses—such as travel, communication, accommodation, and safety-related procedures—to accurately identify the support truly needed on the ground and to organize safe, reliable disaster medical assistance.
TMATとは/About TMAT
TMAT（Tokushukai Medical Assistance Team）は、「生命だけは平等だ」の理念のもと、国内外の災害被災地に対して迅速に医療・人道支援を行う民間医療チームです。医師、看護師、薬剤師、ロジスティクス（事務職）などの医療専門家で構成され、これまでに国内外で数多くの緊急医療支援活動を展開してきた実績があります。2026年5月には、世界保健機関（WHO）より「国際緊急医療チーム（EMT）Type1 Mobile」としての正式認証を世界で65番目、日本国内では国際緊急援助隊医療チーム（JDR）等に続く認証であり、国内NGO初の取得となります。国際基準を満たした専門性の高い医療支援団体として、行政や国際機関と連携しながら、過酷な状況にある被災者へいち早く安心と医療を届けるために活動を続けています。
TMAT (Tokushukai Medical Assistance Team) is a non-governmental medical relief organization dedicated to providing rapid medical and humanitarian assistance to disaster-affected communities in Japan and around the world, guided by its founding principle, "All lives are equal."
TMAT is composed of multidisciplinary professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and logistics personnel (administrative staff), who work together to deliver emergency medical care in disaster settings. Over the years, the team has conducted numerous emergency medical relief missions both domestically and internationally.
In May 2026, TMAT was officially verified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Type 1 Mobile. TMAT became the 65th WHO-verified EMT in the world, the third organization in Japan to receive this recognition—following the Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team and another Japanese EMT—and the first non-governmental organization (NGO) in Japan to achieve WHO EMT verification.
As an internationally recognized medical team that meets WHO standards, TMAT works closely with governments, international organizations, and local partners to deliver timely, high-quality medical care and humanitarian support to people affected by disasters, bringing hope, safety, and healthcare to those in greatest need.
