犬猫と人の、幸せな未来をつくるために
認定NPO法人ピースウィンズが運営するピースワンコは広島県を拠点に、殺処分対象となった犬を引き取り、人に馴れるためのトレーニングを行って、ともに生きてくださる里親を探して送り出しています。
さまざまな困難もありましたが、年間延べ約8万人の方々にご支援をいただき、その皆さまとともに日本から殺処分を無くすために活動続けています。
またピースニャンコでは、主に医療支援を軸に、保護猫ボランティアの負担軽減とピースワンコの既存施設を活かし、1頭でも多くの保護猫が新しい飼い主さんと幸せに暮らせるよる譲渡促進にも取り組んでいます。
保護犬を安全に管理するための体制
シェルターは保護犬を安全に管理できるように、充実した施設に加え、医療体制や人員体制など、様々なシステムを整えています。
治療や避妊手術などをおこない、動物たちの心身のケアを施しながら、行政や医療機関と連携し、様々な活動・業務をおこなっています。
ピースニャンコの活動内容
私たちは、猫の殺処分を減らすため、不幸な猫たちが新しい家族と出会えるよう保護猫ボランティアに協力、連携していきます。
その一環として、保護猫の譲渡活動を行うボランティア団体や個人の皆さんが負担する避妊去勢手術、そして、命を守るための医療費を支援。これにより、ボランティアの皆さんの負担を少しでも減らし、これからも活動を続けられるようサポートします。

皆さまからのご寄付は、保護犬の食費や医療費、高齢・病気・障害などで譲渡が難しい保護犬たちの飼育費（医療費・環境の整備費など）、犬舎や譲渡センターの維持・建築費、スタッフ人件費、災害救助犬・セラピー犬などの育成、正しい犬の飼い方や動物福祉の考え方を広めるための活動などに使わせていただきます。

Donate to Peace Winds' Rescue Activities for Dogs and Cats

Creating a Happy Future for Dogs, Cats, and People
Peace Wanko, operated by the certified NPO Peace Winds, is based in Hiroshima Prefecture. It rescues dogs that are subject to euthanasia, provides them with training to become accustomed to humans, and finds them adoptive families to live with. Despite various challenges, we continue our activities to eliminate euthanasia in Japan, supported by approximately 80,000 people annually.
Peace Nyanko focuses on medical support to reduce the burden on cat rescue volunteers and utilizes existing Peace Wanko facilities to promote adoptions, ensuring that as many rescued cats as possible can live happily with new owners.
System for Safely Managing Rescued Dogs
The shelter is equipped with comprehensive facilities to safely manage rescued dogs, along with medical and staffing systems. We perform treatments and spaying/neutering surgeries, provide care for the animals' physical and mental well-being, and collaborate with government and medical institutions to carry out various activities and tasks.
Activities of Peace Nyanko
To reduce the euthanasia of cats, Peace Nyanko cooperates and collaborates with cat rescue volunteers to help unfortunate cats find new families. As part of this effort, we support the spaying/neutering surgeries and medical expenses necessary to protect lives, which are borne by volunteer groups and individuals conducting cat adoption activities. This support aims to reduce the burden on volunteers and help them continue their activities.
Use of Donations
Peace Wanko Your donations will be used for the following:
● Food and medical expenses for rescued dogs
● Care costs (medical expenses, environmental maintenance costs, etc.) for rescued dogs that are difficult to be adopted due to age, illness, or disability
● Maintenance and construction costs for kennels and adoption centers
● Staff salaries
● Training of disaster rescue dogs and therapy dogs
● Activities to promote proper dog care and animal welfare awareness
