After the military coup in Myanmar in 2021, the healthcare service in the country deteriorated terribly. The health workers who are involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement had not only to flee from the military’s arrest but also to running without any income. Many people lost their lives when they couldn’t access to basic healthcare. TB disease which we believed had been eradicated in the country since the last six years ago, reappeared and many people are suffering from it again. No vaccine for TB, malaria in these regions as well. Just a month ago, we lost some children as they had high fever. Having high fever is not serious enough to lost lives, however since we didn’t have the medicine, we lost them sadly.

With your support, the health workers can get allowance for two months. They can operate small home clinics and mobile healthcare. With your support, our target vulnerable group is to treat women and infants as priorities. Now we can cure their diseases and improve their health. We are less afraid of seasonal flu because we have the medicine now. We are always grateful to all of you.
