About Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon
This is an initiative to expand the circle of charity activities through the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon. You can support this initiative by making donations. Those who donate more than the amount specified by the charity organization and wish to run as a Charity Runner, may be selected as a Charity Runner and asked to promote the charity activities while participating in the event.
The Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Charity program is operated in cooperation of the official charities and the Tokyo Marathon Foundation.
Use of Donations (Planned)
We opened Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) in Luang Prabang (Laos) in 2015, where we provide free medical care in a compassionate environment. Many of our patients are children who require inpatient care. Proper treatment can save their lives. To save the lives of as many children as possible, we will put your generous donation to work for those hospitalized children at LFHC in Laos.
How to participate the Charity
There are two ways to participate.
1) Those who donate 50,000 yen or more and who wish to participate as charity runners
*Priority will be given on a first come fist serve basis.
