メンタルヘルスの支援について
メンタルヘルスにおける音楽療法
音楽を使用した心理療法です。ギターなどの楽器を演奏する人もいれば、ペットボトル、キッチン用品や日常用品を楽器の代わりに使用する人もいます。自分のメンタルヘルスとセルフケアに認識してもらうことが目的です。ミャンマーではクーデター以降、人々は慢性的なストレスにさらされているため、こうした活動による心理的なサポートが必要です。
武力紛争下の子どもたち
2021 年には、約 4 億 4,900 万人の子ども (6 人に 1 人以上) が紛争地域に住んでいました。爆撃された家での暮らし、不発弾や地雷などの環境災害、安全な水と衛生設備の混乱は、子供たちに身体的および心理的なリスクをもたらす可能性があります。ミャンマーでの軍事クーデター後、子供の殺害や不具を含む、子供を標的とした攻撃の数が急増しています。軍はまた、学校や病院を攻撃し、軍事基地として使用しました。軍事政権によって恣意的に拘束されており、子供たちへの拷問や虐待も報告されています。さらに、子どもたちの人道支援も制限されています。

Regarding Mental Healthcare
Music therapy in Mental Wellbeing
This is using music as a psychological therapy. Some may play musical instruments such as guitars, and some may just use easily available tools such as plastic bottles and kitchen utensils as melodica, stools as drums, etc. This is designed to help youths to realize their stressful conditions, their own feelings, promoting self-awareness on mental health and wellbeing. After the coup in Myanmar, people have been under chronic stress so they need to be psychologically supported by such activities.
Children in Armed Conflicts
In 2021 approximately 449 million children (more than one in six) were living in a conflict zone. Living in bombed-out homes, environmental hazards such as unexploded bombs and landmines, and disruptions to safe water and sanitation can pose physical and psychological risks to children. After the military coup in Myanmar, the number of attacks targeting children has surged, including the killing and maiming of children. The military also attacked and used schools and hospitals as military bases. Children have been arbitrarily detained by junta forces, torture and mistreatment of children are also reported. In addition, restrictions to humanitarian access for children have increased.

Donations from the profits of ISMSP member fees investment
In collaboration with KONNECT (https://konnect121.stores.jp), some of the ISMSP member fees were used to invest in the production of 60 sets of KONNECT’s ethnic pin badges. Some of the profits (¥42,655) were contributed to the Spring Healthcare Heroes Program for the frontline medical workers.
