Delivering Brain-Rewiring Therapy Worldwide

At mediVR Inc., we offer rehabilitation services using our VR rehabilitation medical device, mediVR KAGURA. To take this therapy to the world, we kindly ask for your support.

Turning Desires into Hopes, and Hopes into Reality with Brain-Rewiring Therapy

mediVR KAGURA is a medical device originating from Japan, developed in an industry-academia collaboration between Masahiko Hara, a doctor with award-winning experience at the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology, and Osaka University. By utilizing VR, doctors and therapists can manage abnormalities in the information processing of the brain and body in a way that looks "just like a game." This "brain-rewiring therapy" is an entirely new treatment method, backed by over 15 patented technologies, and demonstrates therapeutic effects on a variety of intractable diseases in patients ranging from children to adults.

For instance, a man in his 60s who suffered a complete cervical spinal cord injury due to a horse-riding accident five years ago had given up on recovery, as all treatments he tried did not improve his symptoms. However, after just one month of rehabilitation with mediVR KAGURA, he was able to remove his trunk belt, and after 11 months, he could move his wheelchair and turn over in bed by himself. From him, we received words of joy, saying that he was happy to feel his desires turning into hope, and his hope turning into reality.

Furthermore, an 11-year-old boy who was using a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy managed to walk with a cane after 24 sessions of rehabilitation, and he achieved his dream of "going to pick up my elementary school graduation certificate on my own feet."

Purpose of Donations

Currently, mediVR KAGURA is being introduced in universities, rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, and daycare facilities within Japan. Moreover, in 2022, we at mediVR established the world's first "pay-for-performance" private rehabilitation facility, the mediVR Rehabilitation Center, in Tokyo and Osaka. The adoption of this unprecedented system of not accepting payment unless results are achieved stems from our confidence that "we can cure with KAGURA."

At the mediVR Rehabilitation Center, it is not uncommon for patients to lament with frustration, saying, "I can't believe that I've improved so much in just a few months after struggling with rehabilitation for many years. I wish I had found this therapy sooner."

Every time we witness such situations, we strongly feel the need to "deliver mediVR KAGURA to more people." There must be people outside of Japan who need this rehabilitation.

However, as a small medical device venture, we have limitations in terms of resources and manpower, and our expansion overseas seems quite far into the future. Therefore, we have decided to seek support to expedite our international sales as much as possible. The donations received will be used for overseas medical device approval applications and data collection necessary for that purpose.

"I want to walk on my own feet again."

"I want to return to work."

"I want to laugh heartily with my family and friends."

We look forward to your support to deliver brain-rewiring therapy to all people who wish to regain their own body and lifestyle.
