Among learning disabilities (LD), which make up a significant portion of developmental disabilities, those with specific difficulties in reading and writing account for about 8% of the population. Approximately 35 to 60% of children with LD experience truancy. Many are deprived of opportunities for learning and social participation and are unable to reach their full potential. Therefore, we at EDGE are working to raise awareness, empower them, train supporters, and create a network. Donations are a major source of support to maintain and continue these activities.

ご支援いただいたみなさまに、活動報告と感謝の気持ちを伝える「エッジ感謝祭」を１月28日開催します。
2023年はLDに関する主要５団体協力で初のディスレクシア月間開催、集団アセスメント拡大によるディスレクシア児童への早期対応促進、ディスレクシア当事者によるトークイベントやこども向けワークショップ・オンライン居場所づくりなど、多くのディスレクシア支援・啓発事業にトライできました。
これらの活動はみなさまのご寄付で実施、継続することができました。スタッフ一同お礼申し上げ、ご寄付をどのような活動に使わせていただいたのか報告する「感謝祭」をオンラインで開催します。どうぞお越しください
