In response to the "2024 January Noto Peninsula Earthquake" that occurred on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1, 2024, Flying Search and Medical Team "ARROWS" is a disaster emergency support project operated by the certified NPO Peace Winds Japan. has dispatched an emergency support team to the area.

2024 January Noto Peninsula Earthquake Emergency support teams including doctors, nurses, and rescue dogs are dispatched.

At around 16:10 on January 1, 2024, an earthquake estimated to have a magnitude of 7.6 occurred with its epicenter in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture.

After this earthquake, earthquakes with strong shaking have occurred one after another, causing widespread damage.

Flying search and medical team "ARROWS"* was dispatched as an emergency support team to the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture in response to an earthquake. The emergency support team consists of doctors, nurses, rescue workers, and a disaster relief dog team, and they conduct surveys of the disaster situation and support needs, as well as search and rescue support, medical support, and emergency supplies support.

How to use donations

We will carefully use the donations we receive from everyone for the activities of those affected by the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and in need of support.

<Support activity details>

  • Emergency support such as food, water, medicine, hygiene products, and shelter in disaster-stricken areas
  • Community-led long-term recovery and reconstruction support after emergency support
  • Other support tailored to the needs of disaster-stricken areas
  • Secretariat operating expenses with support

*Funds necessary for emergency support activities in response to this disaster will be collected, and if surplus funds are generated, they will be used to maintain equipment and equipment in preparation for future large-scale disasters.
