Single Mothers’ Sisterhood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the self-care and connection among single mothers in Japan. We offer opportunities to support their well-being and help them feel more connected through online self-care classes held four times a week.
Each year, we publish essays written by single mothers in May and December to honor the diversity of families.
In our fifth year, we launched a special interview series to revisit the voices behind the essays and where they are now.
